About the event
Ed Bracey, Founder and CEO of Synergy of Empowered Women is a philanthropist and facilitator of coaching, mentoring and resource programs for Women Entrepreneurs. Following in his mother’s footsteps, he committed himself to mentoring women in business after a highly successful career as National Advertising Sales Manager for AAA National Headquarters in Lake Mary Florida.
Establishing a coaching career after leaving that position, Ed experienced several traumatic experiences that shaped his new future to service. Divorce and the death of his son and mother to cancer changed Ed totally. After a 3 year sabbatical, Ed met someone who helped him explore his pain and divert it to positive energy serving as a mentor to women entrepreneurs. Synergy was founded in February 2014 on a coast to coast phone call.
Having started with 2 people, Ed grew Synergy through social media to over 3000 followers worldwide. Service programs include Podcast interviews to advertise the services offered by our membership. These podcasts include a national press release to all networks that connected female entrepreneurs with exposure they would not have enjoyed prior. Synergy picked up the costs for this program and these broadcasts are on YouTube, listed as Making Moves in the Marketplace. To further train women to access free advertising, Synergy has partnered with Microsoft to provide free classes on LinkedIn, Microsoft’s professional social media website. Classes have been held in Charlotte, NC and Los Angeles. Synergy has also provided laptop computers to women in need.
Synergy of Empowered Women has recently launched Fund Raising to finance these efforts nationwide and to provide future clients for our network of Female Coaches and Mentors.
Ed, a native South Carolinian, is a graduate of The Citadel where he received a Full Four Year scholarship. He served as an Officer in the Marines after graduation.
Ed is an encourager and nurturer of success oriented women. He has invested his time and his own money to this worthy cause.
